BBC iPlayer & ex Expedia Technical Programme Manager Helen Batson Driving Neonify’s Next Phase of Innovation

Helen brings over 15 years of experience delivering intelligent, user-centred digital products at scale. At BBC iPlayer, she has managed the delivery of AI integration on a speech-to-text platform that improves accessibility and user experience for millions through audio transcriptions. Previously, at Expedia Group, she led a program to build a machine learning platform, enabling real-time personalisation across web and mobile. She has also led complex cross-functional delivery programmes spanning multiple companies and initiatives.

At Neonify, Helen has been instrumental in transforming early-stage ideas into focused, deliverable product plans. Her ability to bring structure, pace, and clarity to product development has been crucial in aligning our roadmap with user needs and technical capability. “Helen has brought calm, clarity and sharp product thinking at exactly the right time,” said Jason Baker, CEO of Neonify. “Her leadership has helped us get more focused, move faster, and build with real purpose.”

We’re excited to highlight the important role Helen continues to play in shaping our next chapter — and can’t wait to share more of what she’s been working on as we progress.
