Position Overview

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth through targeted sales efforts and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS and/or soware sales, with experience in the publishing or digital marketing industry. Key responsibilities include sales to direct publishers and publishers, WordPress, SEO, and web agencies, as well as cultivating partnerships with platforms and businesses in the affiliate and performance marketing space.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the target sectors.
  • Identify and prioritise sales opportunities, leveraging market insights and industry trends to inform sales tactics and approaches.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

  • Cultivate relationships with direct publishers, publishers, WordPress developers, SEO agencies, and web agencies to drive sales of our AI-based data and content solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our solutions and address client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of solutions for clients.

Partnership Development

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with platforms and businesses in the affiliate and performance marketing space to expand our reach and drive revenue growth.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and establish mutually beneficial relationships to drive co-marketing and co-selling initiatives.

Market Intelligence and Insights

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and positioning.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to continuously improve our products and services and drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in SaaS and/or soware sales, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the publishing or digital marketing industry, with a strong understanding of content solutions and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and partners.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on driving win-win outcomes.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving sales success and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
